Spaced Review for Chess Openings

Spaced repetition · 1d → 3d → 7d → 30d ladder · Free with any account

Memorising a chess opening line is easy. Remembering it three weeks later, in the middle of a tournament game, is the hard part. AI Chess Teacher uses spaced repetition to solve that problem: every time you successfully play a line, it disappears from your queue and reappears at a longer interval — first the next day, then three days later, then seven, then thirty.

If you misplay a line, it drops back to the start of the ladder so you can re-learn it. This is the same proven technique used by Anki and other flashcard systems, applied to opening preparation. Lines you know well stay out of your way; lines you struggle with come back more often.

Pair Spaced Review with the opening trainer for a complete workflow. Learn a new line in Learn mode, drill it in Practice mode, then let the review system surface it again at the right moment. Over a few weeks you can build a deep, durable repertoire without ever cramming.
